Pursuant to §31141 of the California Water Code, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 12, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Malaga County Water District (“District”) adopted Ordinance 2017-2 by the following vote:

            The summary of the adopted Ordinance is as follows: An Ordinance repelling and reenacting Chapter 1 of Title 5 of the Malaga County Water District Code (“Malaga Code”) amending the Chapter by adding certain definitions; adding a Section related to the disposal of construction and demolition debris; and adding regulations where an existing solid waste handler is effected by the District’s authorization of a Solid Waste Enterprise to provide exclusive solid waste handling services within the District. The proposed Amendment will allow the District to better regulate sanitation service within the District.
